Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Care

Position Overview
As an Oncology RN, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing comprehensive care to patients throughout their cancer journey. Working 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week), you'll combine clinical expertise with empathetic care to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized oncology nursing care through comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and implementation
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments, managing side effects and patient response
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, symptom management, and home care
- Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
- Serve as a patient advocate and resource for the healthcare team
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license
- BSN from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg Oncology nursing experience
- NRP certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
