Position Overview

Practice emergency medicine in a modern, well-equipped ED handling 20,000 annual patient visits. As an independent contractor (1099), you'll earn approximately $500,000 annually while working alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced trauma center environment
• Perform critical emergency procedures and trauma resuscitations
• Manage complex medical cases and coordinate patient care with specialists
• Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers and nursing staff
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) with flexible scheduling

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Current ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Active or eligible for Pennsylvania medical license
• Strong clinical and leadership skills
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
