Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiographer (RDCS/RCS)

Position Overview

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you'll utilize advanced ultrasound technology to obtain high-quality diagnostic cardiac images while providing exceptional patient care. This role offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive adult echocardiograms using M-mode, 2D, and Doppler imaging following IACEL protocols
  • Assist physicians during Transesophageal Echocardiogram procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Optimize patient scheduling and workflow efficiency
  • Ensure quality control standards are met for all examinations
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality

Required Qualifications

  • Current RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification with AE specialty
  • Associate's Degree or Certificate in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
