Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure sterile field maintenance and surgical instrument management during procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during operative procedures
• Prepare operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor surgical equipment functionality and maintain quality control
• Facilitate efficient room turnover between procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and supply usage

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current State Board certification (required by start of employment)
• Current BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrument management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment
