Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you will perform critical analytical procedures and testing in our state-of-the-art 24/7 clinical laboratory facility, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex laboratory analyses on blood, body fluids, and tissue specimens
• Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Ensure quality control measures and maintain accurate documentation
• Report test results promptly through laboratory information systems
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding test results and technical inquiries
• Perform specimen collection and handling procedures when required
• Support laboratory operations and maintain compliance with safety protocols
• Participate in competency assessments and continuing education

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) ASCP certification preferred
• Ability to obtain Nevada Clinical Laboratory Technologist license within 7 months
• Recent clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Computer proficiency with laboratory information systems
