Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Execute complex scrub duties across diverse surgical procedures with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sterile technique protocols while managing surgical instruments and supplies
• Anticipate surgical team needs and respond efficiently during procedures
• Collaborate closely with RNs and surgeons to ensure seamless operative care
• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setup and turnover
• Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Assist in the handling of specimens and surgical equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Vocational School Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• 2 years of surgical technologist experience preferred
• Acute care experience preferred (1 year minimum)
• Ability to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
