Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level 1 Trauma Center

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide expert emergency nursing care through patient assessment, triage, and treatment coordination
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously while maintaining exceptional care standards
• Implement individualized patient care plans and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform emergency medical procedures and assist in critical care interventions
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care nursing experience (ED, ICU, or PCU)
• Current BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
• Current ACLS certification (or obtainable within 90 days)
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellence in multi-tasking and prioritization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Emergency Department or Trauma Center experience
• Paramedic background
• TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
