Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Acute Care

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional emergency patient care while maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment
• Perform rapid patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and condition changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Facilitate efficient patient flow through admission and discharge processes
• Provide patient/family education regarding treatment plans and self-care
• Document all care delivery in EMR systems accurately and thoroughly
• Supervise and mentor nursing support staff
• Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license or eligibility for Florida licensure
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care ER experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
• ACLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• PALS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
