Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level 1 Trauma Center

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care through expert patient assessment, triage, and treatment
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards of care
• Implement individualized care plans and interventions based on evidence-based practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide comprehensive patient education and discharge planning
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in EMR systems
• Maintain emergency department flow through efficient patient management
• Respond effectively to trauma alerts and code situations

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Emergency Department experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification (required at start)
• ACLS certification (required within 90 days)
• PALS certification (required within 90 days)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (required within 90 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
