Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and treatment for patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based emergency nursing care in alignment with hospital protocols
• Execute critical nursing interventions and life-saving procedures in high-stress situations
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously while maintaining exceptional documentation standards
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Provide comprehensive discharge planning, patient education, and care coordination
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida State RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Emergency Department experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification required at start
• ACLS and PALS certifications (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (must obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
