Position Overview

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing nursing team, providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance management
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation and monitoring of evidence-based practices
• Manage department operations, including staffing optimization, resource allocation, and budget oversight
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain quality metrics aligned with organizational goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency
• Handle conflict resolution and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum 3 years of emergency nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Demonstrated leadership experience in acute care setting
• Strong clinical and operational decision-making abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
