Senior Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department
A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. In this leadership role, you'll oversee clinical operations, coordinate patient care, and ensure exceptional healthcare delivery standards during your assigned shifts.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise nursing staff while managing day-to-day Emergency Department operations
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care delivery and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
- Perform clinical assessments and monitor patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and modify patient care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records
- Provide mentorship and delegate responsibilities to nursing staff while maintaining accountability
- Deliver patient and family education throughout the care journey
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- Minimum 2-3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Demonstrated charge nurse experience
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Strong clinical leadership and decision-making abilities
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Trauma care experience
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
