Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department | Leadership Role

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in our Emergency Department. In this leadership role, you'll oversee critical operations and coordinate patient care services during your designated shifts while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellence in patient care delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all emergency department operations during assigned shifts
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor critical changes in patient conditions
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff while ensuring optimal patient care delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and modify patient care plans
• Maintain detailed electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• 3+ years of RN experience (ICU or Psychiatric experience considered)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Ability to obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 1 year
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Trauma care experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Emergency Department leadership experience
