Facilities Maintenance Supervisor - Healthcare

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our healthcare facility in Texas. In this key leadership role, you will oversee a team of Maintenance Mechanics while ensuring optimal operation of our medical facility's critical systems and equipment. This position combines technical expertise with leadership skills to maintain our state-of-the-art healthcare environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of Maintenance Mechanics in maintaining healthcare facility systems and equipment
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for critical medical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems
• Oversee compliance with TDH regulations and healthcare facility maintenance standards
• Direct emergency repair responses and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities
• Manage facilities engineering budget and maintain cost-effective operations
• Implement energy management programs in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, testing, and maintenance activities
• Develop and conduct staff training programs on equipment maintenance and safety protocols
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts within budget parameters

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in healthcare or medical settings
• Associate's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with building automation systems and preventive maintenance programs
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Strong budget management and planning skills
• Valid certification in mechanical, electrical, or facilities management (preferred)
