Senior Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment (CR, DR, PACS)
• Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
• Administer IV contrast media and perform specialized procedures including urinary catheterizations
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are strictly followed
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in PACS
• Mentor and train new staff members and radiologic technology students
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment quality control and report any technical issues promptly

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible status
• Valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Proficiency with digital imaging systems and PACS
• High school diploma or equivalent
