Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Healthcare Imaging Professional

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CR, and DR imaging while ensuring optimal image quality
- Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment including PACS systems
- Administer IV contrast media and perform catheterizations when required
- Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are followed
- Mentor and train new staff members and students
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and families
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible status
- Valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to assist in patient positioning and transfer
