Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Healthcare Imaging Professional

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CR, and DR imaging while ensuring optimal image quality
• Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment including PACS systems
• Administer IV contrast media and perform catheterizations when required
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are followed
• Mentor and train new staff members and students
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and families

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible status
• Valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to assist in patient positioning and transfer
