Senior Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Healthcare Imaging Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment including CR, DR, and PACS systems
• Conduct patient assessments and prepare patients for radiological procedures
• Execute IV contrast media administration and urinary catheterizations as needed
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are strictly followed
• Mentor and train new staff members and students in radiologic procedures
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and their families
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible status
• Valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Physical capability to assist and transport patients as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in radiologic technology
• Additional modality certifications
• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS
