Clinical Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health Services

Position Overview

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in leading our behavioral health nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining operational excellence. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to create positive outcomes for both patients and staff.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of behavioral health nurses while ensuring exceptional patient care standards
• Develop and implement staff education programs and competency assessments
• Manage daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and productivity metrics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate quality metrics and implement improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
• Partner with Program Director and Director of Nursing to advance department goals
• Oversee patient care assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license
• 3-5 years of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience
• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting
• BSN preferred; MSN highly desirable
• Strong clinical competency in mental health treatment modalities
• BCLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (or obtained within 30 days)
