Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and assist surgeons during operations
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment and instruments
• Anticipate surgeon's needs and pass instruments during procedures
• Conduct pre and post-operative inventory of surgical instruments and supplies
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assist in maintaining operating room safety protocols and infection control standards

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current State Board certification (required by start of employment)
• Valid BLS Certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and aseptic technique
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment
