Clinical Hospital Pharmacist - Full-Time

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and clinical services to patients
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians ensuring optimal workflow and compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Manage inventory control and contribute to department financial objectives
• Deliver evidence-based clinical recommendations and interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient care initiatives
• Handle sterile and non-sterile medication preparation and dispensing

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited institution
• Virginia State Board of Pharmacy licensure (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency
• Hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with electronic health record systems
