Core Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced MRI diagnostic procedures using cutting-edge imaging equipment
- Administer IV contrast materials and ensure proper imaging protocols
- Position patients safely and efficiently while providing reassuring patient care
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Assist in training new staff and students in MRI procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Participate in scheduling and patient workflow management
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in MRI or eligibility for advanced MRI certification
- Current AHA BLS-HCP certification
- Strong technical proficiency with MRI equipment and protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Physical ability to assist patients and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining required continuing education credits
