Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Full Time

Position Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll utilize state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced DR (Digital Radiography) systems
• Conduct patient assessments and prepare patients for radiologic procedures
• Operate and maintain PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and related imaging equipment
• Administer IV contrast media and perform catheterizations when required
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are followed
• Participate in training programs for students and staff members
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification or registry eligible
• Current AHA BLS-HCP certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in diagnostic radiography
• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS
• Multiple modality certifications
