Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical Unit

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through evidence-based nursing practices
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and accuracy
- Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records system
- Serve as patient advocate and provide education to patients and families
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatments
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP as required)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC experience preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and holidays
