Senior Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Full Time

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment including CR, DR, and PACS systems
• Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
• Administer IV contrast media and perform catheterizations as required
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed and maintain proper documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
• Mentor and train new staff members and students
• Maintain equipment quality control and perform basic troubleshooting
• Create a welcoming and safe environment for patients and their families

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible status
• Valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to assist in patient positioning and transfer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in diagnostic imaging
• Additional modality certifications
• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS
