Key Responsibilities

• Operate advanced MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for physician analysis
• Maintain strict adherence to high magnetic field strength safety protocols
• Prepare and administer contrast media in compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct patient screenings, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure patient comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and files using Cerner EMR system
• Perform quality assurance checks on MRI equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists to meet imaging expectations and protocols
• Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety goals
• Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs

Qualifications and Requirements

• ARRT (MR) certification
• Valid Kentucky State Radiation License
• Current BLS certification
