We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role specializes in performing advanced angiographic imaging procedures in a cutting-edge angiography environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in various clinical procedural areas, including Neurological, Thoracic, Abdominal, Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal Nonvascular, Peripheral, and Venous Access interventions.
• Perform complex vascular angiographic imaging procedures with precision and care
• Operate advanced radiological equipment and maintain imaging quality standards
• Assist in a wide range of interventional radiology procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all examinations
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
• Provide care for critically to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in interventional radiology technology
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist certification
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) certification required
• CV Registered certification preferred
• 1+ year of experience in Interventional Radiology (less may be considered with strong prior imaging experience)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (must be obtained within 30 days of start date)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Radiology special procedures preferred
• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
